Yao Ming is the most famous basketball player in China. I think most people in China, even foreigners know him, but not all of them know about him. In the following, I’ll tell you something about Yao Ming. Yao Ming was born in Shanghai on Sep.12 1980. He is very tall, his height is 2.26 metres. He is also very heavy, his weight is 134 kilograms. He joined CBA at the age of 18, his number in CBA is 13 and he joined NBA at the age of 22, his number in NBA is 11. Except playing basketball he also has many other hobbies, such as, playing computer games, reading books, surfing on the net, swimming, listening to the pop music and so on.
